<H1>Personal Information</H1> <UL><LI><A HREF="#aboutme">About Me</A><LI><A HREF="#interests">Interests</A><LI><A HREF="#family">Family</A><LI><A HREF="#qualifications">Qualifications</A></UL> <H2><A NAME="aboutme">About Me</A></H2> I am a chartered mathematician and member of the <A HREF="http://www.ima.org.uk/" >Institute of Mathematics and its Applications</A>. I am also a computer programmer: <A HREF="java/" >Java</A>, <A HREF="latex/" >TeX/LaTeX</A>, C (very rusty), Perl (I wrote the Perl CGI scripts for the <A HREF="http://theoval.cmp.uea.ac.uk/competition/" >Predictive Uncertainty in Environmental Modelling Competition</A>) and limited Matlab. <P> My main line of work is my publishing company <a href="http://www.dickimaw-books.com/">Dickimaw Books</a> but I'm also an honorary lecturer in the <A HREF="http://www.cmp.uea.ac.uk/" >School of Computing Sciences</A> at <A HREF="http://www.uea.ac.uk/" >UEA</A>. <P> I am a member of the <A HREF="http://www.tug.org/" >TeX User Group</A> and the <A HREF="http://uk.tug.org/" >UK TeX User Group</A>. <P> For those who are still curious, further information about me is in my <A HREF="http://www.tug.org/interviews/interview-files/nicola-talbot.html" >TUG interview</A>. <P> <A HREF="#top">Top</A> <H2><A NAME="interests">Interests</A></H2> <UL> <LI>Reading, e.g. Jane Austen, Raymond Chandler, Daschel Hammet, P.G.
