This report presents mean daily surface level pressure, 500 hPa and 700 hPa charts for atmospheric circulation patterns classified according to the Grosswetterlagen scheme devised by Hess and Bresowsky [1,2]. The charts were computed from the daily surface level pressure dataset used in the ACCORD (Atmospheric Circulation Classification and Regional Downscaling) project, extending from the first day of January 1968 through to the last day of December 19931. This work was intended to provide a set of surface level pressure and upper air charts that are each in some way characteristic of a Grosswetterlagen circulation type.
